Nichelle & Nate……..Married

It was a beautiful day in San Diego for the marriage of Nichelle & Nate. That day was actually the first time I had met either Nichelle or Nate, so I was interested to see what they were like. They both turned out to be such great people and we had tons of fun shooting around the San Diego temple and then downtown La Jolla. This was my last wedding of 2008 and it was a great way to finish off the year. Enjoy!

PhotoBooth…….Karin + Arjan

We had a blast doing this PhotoBooth at Karin and Arjan’s wedding. All of their guests were such great sports and they really had some great ideas to shoot. The PhotoBooth is great for a wedding because it gives the bride and groom an awesome record of everyone that was there. Plus at this wedding almost everyone made a sign to show with their picture. At the end of the night we gathered up all of the signs and presented them to Karin and Arjan. Enjoy.

Right before we packed up we got the bride and groom over for a couple shots.

For those future brides and grooms reading this, don’t forget to ask me about including a PhotoBooth in your upcoming wedding. Cheers!

Karin + Arjan……..Married……11-8-08

Karin and Arjan are two of the most talented and down to earth people I have ever met. Thats a hard combo to come by. They  were married at a beautiful hotel in Palm Springs called The Horizon. If you are thinking about getting married in Palm Springs then check this place out. The whole wedding went off without a hitch and I had a blast finding lots of places to shoot. We also set up a photobooth so be sure to check back soon.

First up, a little moment between Karin and Arjan that I enjoyed.

They used these beautiful vintage postcards as the their escort cards.

The day had perfect weather

The Shoes

I love this moment right after the ceremony between Karin and Arjan’s mother.

Jennifer&Christopher……………Married

This wedding was a blast! I had been looking forward to it all year due to the amazing couple and spectacular location. The wedding was held at the beautiful Los Angeles Union Station. We were given an all access pass and were able to shoot anywhere we wanted! We had a great time exploring all of the cool areas that were off limits to the public. As we walked around it felt like we had been taken back in time. This is a photographers dream! The whole day went off without a hitch.

First up is one of my favorite shots of the day. Jen and Chris are so elegant.

Here is Jennifer waiting to see Chris for the first time that day

The architecture at this place was gorgeous.

Jennifer was just beaming during the ceremony.

I love the hand written chinese characters on these place cards.

And of course the beautiful bouquet.

Everything about Jennifer’s ensemble fit so well with the location. She looked like she stepped right out of a time machine.

I really hope that I get to shoot here again!

Mandy and Brian……Married

This was such a fun wedding for me. Mandy and I have been friends since high school and when I found out she was getting married, I was really happy for her. Then I was even happier when they asked me to shoot their wedding. Both the ceremony and reception were held at the amazing Kennolyn resort located outside Santa Cruz, CA. There were so many great pictures from the day of as well as their day after session that I had a hard time choosing which ones to post. Thanks for the wonderful weekend guys it was awesome!

Mandy’s beautiful hair piece

This is one of my all time favorite getting ready shots

Mandy’s makeup was amazing.

Brian had the best expressions for looking directly into the camera.

Mandy was all smiles the whole day.

But she can also rock the serious/model face.

Brian with his two brothers as his best men.

The Kennolyn Resort has such an amazing since of calm about it.

And now some pictures from their day after session

Such a great wedding shared with beautiful people. Thanks so much guys!

Matt&Jenny……Married

It has been so crazy busy for me this past month that I have really let my blogging slide. I am really excited to post this wedding though. It has to be one of my favorites so far this year. It was all shot on the grounds of the San Juan Capistrano Mission This was my third time shooting there and it is always so beautiful. Matt and Jenny were very fun to work with. They laughed and danced the whole day. It was so fun to watch.

Josephine & Patrick………Married

Wow, I have been shooting so much lately and it is only going to get crazier next month. Needless to say I have fallen behind on blogging my recent weddings.
I am really excited about this post though. The pictures that I created with Josephine and Patrick are better than I could have hoped for. Temperatures on the day of their wedding were in the triple digits, but they tuffed it out and we all ended up having a great time together.

First up a shot of Josephine at the hotel before the ceremony.

I love this shot of Josephine getting onto the elevator.

She was so smiley all day long.

It was so hot outside that we tried to stay in the hotel as much as possible. This forced me to bust out my ninja lighting skills and come up with killer shots like this one.

But we did make it outside for a couple shots in the veranda out by the pool.

I think this is one of my favorite shots of the day. I told Josephine to put on her sexy/serious supermodel face and she worked it.

And finally a couple detail shots of the beautiful cake and rings.

It was a hot one but we got through it with flying colors. Thanks to Josephine and Patrick for having so much faith in me. I wish you both the best.

Tyler and Sandra……Married

This is a wedding from last month that I had not had a chance to blog yet. Tyler and Sandra were such a cool couple to work with. It always makes me so excited to shoot a wedding when I know that the couple has total confidence in me. This was definitely the case with Tyler and Sandra. We had a great time shooting around Huntington Beach, and the surrounding areas. Thanks for such a great time guys.

Joy + Dan 11-17-07

What a fun wedding this was. Since Joy and Dan are both from Northern Cali, I didnt get a chance to shoot their engadement. So this was the first time that I really had a chance to get to know them. They were both so easy to be around, and from the get go seemed really comfortable infront of the camera. This of course always makes my job a lot easier, so i was loving every minute of it. A note to future brides and grooms. The more relaxed in front of the camera you are, the better your pics are going to turn out. Its all about having a good time and making some beautiful images to last a life time.

First up a sweet shot of Joy up in the hotel room before we went down to meet up with Dan for the “first site”

On top of being a stud and all around good guy, Dan is in the Navy. I knew that we had to get some sweet shots with his sailor hat on.

I had such a fun time at this wedding. I love my job!!!! I wish you both many years of love and happiness.

Nate & Kieu 9-8-07

This last Saturday I had the great opportunity to photograph Nate and Kieu at The Marina Village. This beautiful couple was so fun to be around. Nate and Kieu had such a strong love for each-other and I feel like it really came through in the pictures. They did a great job at forgetting about the stresses of the day which made it really easy to create some beautifully natural shots.
