Just Because….

It has been a long while since I have posted on this blog. Last night I was going through some pictures that I took in Sept of 06. That was a special month for me because that is when I married my best friend. For our honeymoon we went on a cruise to Mexico. It was an awesome vacation and we didn’t want it to end. Here are a few pictures.

Last year I had the opportunity to shoot the amazing wedding of Ashley and Jason Hull. We had a great time together so I was excited when they called me to shoot some family portraits for the holidays. It was also exciting to find out that Ashley was 5 months pregnant!!! Congrats on your future addition guys and many blessings for the coming new year.
Their little girls had the best smiles. It was fun to watch how much fun they have together as a family.

UTAH TRIP 2007

About a month ago I decided I needed a little break. Since Kim was going out of town to visit her sister, I decided to take a little trip of my own to Utah. I have tons of family and friends up in Utah and have been going up there for family vacations since I was a little kid. Since I am usually driving up with other people, I don’t get a chance to stop and shoot whenever and whatever I want. This time around I was flying solo and had a chance to shoot a bit on the way up.
First up is a couple shots from an abandoned water park off of the I-15.

While up in Utah I had a chance to hang out with my good friend Ryan. One day we went hiking up in Provo canyon and ended up shooting an impromptu portrait session. Here is what we came up with.
The Power of Photography

My uber entrepreneurial brother-in-law is starting a company that sells beanies and other clothing. We have been trying to set up a little photo shoot to promo his goods for a while now and it finally came together a few weeks ago. Since he has put these new pictures up on his website his sales have dramatically increased. It is amazing to me how much of a difference a few photos makes. Hooray for the power of photography!!!
