UTAH TRIP 2007

About a month ago I decided I needed a little break. Since Kim was going out of town to visit her sister, I decided to take a little trip of my own to Utah. I have tons of family and friends up in Utah and have been going up there for family vacations since I was a little kid. Since I am usually driving up with other people, I don’t get a chance to stop and shoot whenever and whatever I want. This time around I was flying solo and had a chance to shoot a bit on the way up.

First up is a couple shots from an abandoned water park off of the I-15.

While up in Utah I had a chance to hang out with my good friend Ryan. One day we went hiking up in Provo canyon and ended up shooting an impromptu portrait session. Here is what we came up with.

Joy + Dan 11-17-07

What a fun wedding this was. Since Joy and Dan are both from Northern Cali, I didnt get a chance to shoot their engadement. So this was the first time that I really had a chance to get to know them. They were both so easy to be around, and from the get go seemed really comfortable infront of the camera. This of course always makes my job a lot easier, so i was loving every minute of it. A note to future brides and grooms. The more relaxed in front of the camera you are, the better your pics are going to turn out. Its all about having a good time and making some beautiful images to last a life time.

First up a sweet shot of Joy up in the hotel room before we went down to meet up with Dan for the “first site”

Dan told me that this was his favorite shot from the day.

On top of being a stud and all around good guy, Dan is in the Navy. I knew that we had to get some sweet shots with his sailor hat on.

I had such a fun time at this wedding. I love my job!!!! I wish you both many years of love and happiness.

The Lundell Family!!!!!

I had a feeling that it was going to be a great shoot when the Lundells asked me to do their family portraits. This amazing family just recently moved into our area, and they are so fun. We all had a blast roaming about the Chapman University campus. Their two little girls could not have been cooler. They instantly made me feel like one of the gang!!
Thanks for such a fun time guys. Welcome to Orange!!!!
